Our Story
Oh wow, you DO want to know more. Okay cool
My name is Daniel, and I'm Jaime's fiancé. We are a couple of crazy kids who are childless Disney Millennials, who love to travel, but frequently visit Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood. We live on the West Coast of Canada with our dog, Tallie, and our cat, Maverick. I work as an airline pilot, and Jaime runs the show in Recreation.
A little more
Jaime surprised me with my first trip to Disneyland in 2016. Some of our closest friends and family ended up being in on the surprise and showed up at the airport gate. We all flew down together for an amazing 10-day experience. Little did Jaime know that on that trip, she created a monster. I love everything about going to Disneyland and Universal Studios; the snacks, collecting pins, the sights and smells, the rides. The feeling of leaving the day-to-day behind and experiencing the magic. This pic isn't from that trip, but I think is sick anyway -->
But something was missing...
Trip after trip, I started noticing that there wasn't much that I liked in the way of apparel. I decided to give in to my entrepreneurial side and start designing apparel that spoke more to me. Less in-your-face wares that weren't limited to the parks. Designs that make the 90's kid in me happy. So since I spend so much time travelling and in hotels for work, I decided to be productive with my time, and started the Second Star Supply Co. I hope you all enjoy our products as much as we do.
Also, this is Tallie
She is the sweetest girl. Tallie is a rescue from Thailand and a mixed breed- Shiba Inu and Dingo! We got her when she was just 6 months old and now she's 12! For 11 years she lived the peaceful only child life, that is until her annoying little brother showed up and ruined everything. She may pretend to not be interested in him, and most of the time it's true, but she does love running around and wrestling with him now that he's bigger.
Her favourite things include: Lounging, sleeping, napping, seeing her Grandma, and aunts and uncles. She loves chewing on her chews, and treats. And she loves playing with her brother Maverick.
Her least favourite things: ....Her brother Maverick, loud noises including big semi-trucks, jingling keys, rustling plastic bags, feet, and our neighbours’ Corgi named Connie. F that B
And this is the Phantom Menace himself, Maverick
Maverick was born on a farm and we got him when he was around 8 weeks old. He's almost 2 now! He is the sweetest, cuddliest, most playful and loving, spicy little pos Tuxedo Cat. He loves his pawrents and is obsessed with his big sis, Tallie.
His favourite things include: His sister, chasing his springs and finger traps around the house, bringing his toys to bed to show us how good of an apex preditor he is. He loves any meal time, treats, and these tube things with fish paste in them. He loves cuddling and being held...until he's done, and loves looking out the window. He is also learning to go outside with his harness on so he can gor for walk with his big sis.
His least favourite things: When he's not eating, getting too many bum pats, random noises outside that can be scary, when he loses his toys under the furniture and appliances.
